In earlier versions of the App, there was the ability to add single and multiple purchase orders and/or disbursements directly from Time Entries on the calendar.

From TimeTrak version 21.3.10, this has been changed to only provide the ability to select from ‘Add Disbursements’ and ‘Add Purchase Order’ to reduce the screen real estate of the pop out menu when double-clicking (android only) and using swipe left (android and ios) on a Time Entry.
Older version:
Referencing the settings applicable to both purchase orders and disbursements from the videos above, now, when double-clicking (android) on a Time Entry, the following options will display if appropriate access rights have been enabled (this example is for when there are no required fields against Purchase Order Lines);
This example is for when required field/s have been enabled against Purchase Order Lines;
For both android and ios, when using the swipe left option and selecting ‘more’:
The same options display as above.
ADDING DISBURSEMENTS
The following rules apply for adding disbursements;
a) The option will go to a single assignment if the item has must choose/ required fields
b) The option will go to multiple assignments If there are no must-choose/ required fields
An example of a) above;
The narration has been set to ‘required’ and Quote Option has been set to ‘must choose’:
When selecting ‘add disbursement’ from the Time Entry, the option to select a Stock Item will display. You will then be directed to the Disbursement form to update the required fields before saving;
An example of b) above;
There are no required or must-choose fields enabled against Disbursements;
In this scenario, after ‘add disbursement’ is selected against the Time Entry, the Stock Items multiple choice shopping cart will be available, where you have the option to select more than one stock item and adjust the amount per item before confirming.
ADDING PURCHASE ORDERS
The same rules apply for Purchase Orders as for Disbursements as above;
a) The option will go to a single assignment if the item has must choose/ required fields
b) The option will go to multiple assignments If there are no must-choose/ required fields
An example of a) above;
The narration has been set to ‘required’:
When double tapping on the Time Entry, the option to ‘add single line purchase order’ will display;
When selected, the Suppliers form will display stock items and then stock details which can be updated, including the required field/s and saved;
The purchase order displays the stock item selected above;
An example of b) above;
There are no required fields enabled against Purchase Order Lines;
When you double tap the Time Entry, the option to ‘add purchase order’ will be available:
In this scenario, after ‘add purchase order’ is selected against the Time Entry, the Suppliers form displays, and then the Stock Items multiple choice shopping cart will be available where you have the option to choose more than one stock item and adjust the amount per item before confirming.
Once confirmed, the Purchase Order displays along with the multiple lines and updated quantity per stock item as below;
