Exo Licencing Changes
Reducing Licence Count(s)
If a client wants to reduce their licence count,
Example: the client has 15x ACCESS licences and wants to drop down to 8x ACCESS licences. In the future if they needed additional licences, they have two options:
1. Backpay the ALF missed (without the need to purchase the licence again).
They backpay the ALF missed from when they reduced their licence count.
I.e. if licencing was due in December and they reduced the count, then needed to purchase an additional licence 6 months later, we would charge them for the ALF (backdated) from when they reduced the licence count.
2. Re-Purchase the licence.
If the licences were reduced 4+ years ago, this would be the most cost-effective option.
Company Changing Ownership
If a client’s business is changing ownership or Company name, we do not require them to re-purchase licencing like MYOB. The new company would just continue with Annual Licencing Fees.
From the start of 2022, we are introducing a TimeTrak EULA (End User Licence Agreement) for all new clients.
If a company was to change ownership/company name, we would have the new company sign our EULA and store this on file.
Note: When the Company name is changed in Exo database this affects the TimeTrak licencing. This means that this change would need to be coordinated with the Dealer to ensure we could re-licence TimeTrak as soon as they make the change or the client will be unable to access TimeTrak.
